Alivio Tourist Park Canberra : Family-Friendly Fun

Alivio Tourist Park Canberra : Family-Friendly Fun places to visit in honolulu

Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Alivio Tourist Park Canberra. Unveil the tranquility that awaits in this haven, strategically situated amidst nature’s embrace.

Apart from our restaurant and laundry, all our facilities are free for our guests to enjoy.

We take great pride and care of our amenities to make sure they continue to delight every guest, every day.

We have recently increased our offerings to include a recreation room during school holidays, an outdoor cinema and DVD/board game hire from reception. We hope our efforts and these inclusions make every stay at Alivio one you’ll treasure forever

Rooms are fantastic! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and all the bunk beds were nicely made and beds were comfy! We appreciated the extra blankets for cuddling on the outdoor deck and lounge. Rooms are clean, comfortable, neat and welcoming.

Stayed for 4 nights, first 2 nights were in a small very rundown cabin which was filthy, bugs all over the pillows, cockroach smushed on the door frame which looked like it had been there for quite some time. Had to ask reception for basic stuff, dishwashing liquid, plug for the bath to bathe our kids. Second night we had no hot water for 4 hours, couldn’t give our kids a bath or have showers. Toilet wouldn’t flush the following morning. Spoke to reception who were very helpful and offered another room which was a lot bigger and modern. Had to pay the difference for 1 night and alivio covered the rest. The new room was very nice, but was also not very clean. Dirty marks all over the walls, toilet not clean, kitchen bench not wiped. The kitchen only had a bathroom sized bin. Had to keep a plastic bag on the bench for our rubbish and take to the big bin outside. The splash park was great and BBQ was lovely. Had a meal at the Verandah which was very pricey, but food was very average.
Overall I would not stay here again nor recommend to others.

Spent 6 nights at Alivio last week. The park is amazing and has so much to offer for children. Large grass area, tennis court, basket ball court, play ground x2 and a volley ball court. It was quiet heavy rain the first few days we were there so it was also great that they had indoor entertainment for children too. Pool was fantastic and well headed as was the splash area as well. Amenities were modern but could have been cleaner. Family room was very clean though. Very close to all the activities. We will be back!

We stayed one night in a Rozella cabin along with family in another cabin. Reception was professional and friendly. Cabin was filthy! On entering nothing had been done other than beds made, the floor was disgusting. Reception sent a cleaner over and he had a Hoover and mop and bucket – but no water in the bucket at all, it was bone dry with a damp mop in it. Yes he cleaned the floors but hid knows if it was a clean mop! All other facilities were new and modern. Bar pool area etc. money obviously spent there first. Breakfast was cooked well, but cold! Staff were zoobie like in as much as no matter who many conversations we had I couldn’t get a sound out of them not even a good morning when asking how they were. More money needs to be spent on all cabins and a huge amount of training with bar and cafe staff. Value for money NO……. We weren’t the only ones with complaints with cabins

Alivio Tourist Park Reviews

Review 1: Kate Roberts

Again, we highly recommend Alivio. The 2nd time we stayed this time, we stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and well equipped for our family to be able to have cook and eat meals at. The facilities are well looked after, everything was well equipped and with a huge variety of activities including the pool, kids pool playing area, tennis courts, basketball court and BBQ areas. The restaurant the meals are well priced, huge plates that even the best of us couldn’t finish and all were delicious. Meg the chef went above and beyond to listen to our concerns for my mum whole couldn’t eat anything on the menu due to food allergies and made something off menu so she could have a dish to eat.

Review 2: Maher Family

This place is great, we love how well designed it is for kids and all the facilities on offer. The pool is awesome as is the water play park. The playground is designed for slightly older kids and is fantastic. Tennis courts are available for a play too. The villa is spacious and clean, towels are fluffy and comfy. We love the bedding and had a great night sleep. Views from the villa were lovely and gardens / grounds are all very well maintained.
